భారతీయ జనతా పార్టీ నుంచి మల్కాజిగిరి ఎంపి స్థానానికి   దేశవ్యాప్తముగా ఎన్నో ఉద్యమాలకు నాయకత్వం వహించిన పి.చంద్ర శేఖర్(PCR ) ను KCR కు పోటి గా నిలబెడుతున్నట్లు తెలుస్తున్నది ! 

దాదాపు 30 సంవత్సరాలుగా సంఘ్ పరివార్ పూర్తి సమయ కార్యకర్త గా (RSS,ABVP,BJP లకు) పని చేసి జాతీయ భద్రతా సలహామండలికి BJP నుంచి ప్రాతినిద్యం వహిస్తూ ఆంధ్ర మోడీ అని అభిమానులచే ముద్దుగా పిలిపించుకొనే అయనను మల్కాజిగిరి నుంచి నిలబెట్టాలని BJP ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నది !.  మల్కాజిగిరి లో వుండే ఎక్కువమంది సీమంద్ర తెలంగాణా సేటిలర్లు కు పి.సి.అర్ సుపరిచితులే ఈయన తెలంగాణా లో పుట్టి పెరిగినా ఎక్కువగా ఆంధ్రా ప్రాంతంలో ఫుల్టైం వర్కర్ గా పని చేయడం వల్ల నెల్లూరు ,రాయలసీమ ప్రాంతాల్లో లో ఎక్కువగా అభిమానులు ఉన్నారు, వివిధ పార్టీ లలో పని చేస్తున్న వారు కూడా పి.సి.అర్ కు సానుకూలం !. ఈయనకు ఉన్న అద్బుత వాగ్దాటి వల్ల KCR నోరుకు కళ్ళెం వేయగలరు అని కూడా భావిస్తున్నారు. ఖచ్చితంగా KCR కి PCR నుండి తీవ్ర పోటి తప్పదు !

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) translated in English as the "Indian People's Party", is one of the most prominent political party in India today. It is a major national party with a right-wing political position. It strongly adheres to a Hindu-nationalist ideology, proposing Hindutva through social conservatism and perseverance of Hinduism. It is the most significant member of the family of militant organizations known as the 'Sangh Parivar'. The BJP was officially formed in 1980,under the political guidance and leadership of two of its most significant leaders, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and L.K. Advani. Both of them were members of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh (BJS), the political wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, the militant, nationalist cultural organization of independent India. The BJS was founded by Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee in 1951, to combat the increasing political power of the Indian National Congress (INC). The INC had initiated a number of compromises in the questions of political and cultural integrity and unity of India. For instance, the BJS did not support the appeasement policy for Muslims, which was introduced by Gandhiji and carried out by the INC. This was unacceptable to the ideological standings of the BJS. To revolt against each of these issues, the BJS, under the umbrella of RSS, began to grow in strength. But soon after, with Mookherjee's death, the organization started to decline in political importance. The BJS lasted for 24 years, under the able leadership of Deendayal Upadhyaya. It was in this period that leaders like Vajpayee and Advani were groomed, who would be able to take charge of the future political affairs of India. In the 1977 elections, after the Indira Gandhi-imposed Emergency was called off, the BJS merged with three other active political organizations with a socialist and regionalist approach. This coalition came to be called the Janata Party. It won a landslide victory by a thumping majority in the 1977 elections, and formed the government under Morarji Desai's leadership. However, with increasing internal factionalism and political chaos, the Janata Party collapsed in 1979. The Bharatiya Janata Party was formally announced in December 1980, comprising members of the nucleus of the Janata Party. Vajpayee was the first President of the BJP. The BJP came to power at the Centre, by forming a coalition of parties in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) from 1998 to 2004. The present President of the BJP is Rajnath Singh. Today it is the major opposition party in the Houses of Parliament. Sushma Swaraj is the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, whereas Arun Jaitley is the Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha. The National Executive Committee of the BJP has unanimously decided to file Narendra Modi, the present Chief Minister of Gujarat, as its fittest candidate for the post of Prime Minister in the 2014 general elections.
